ANDOVER, MA — State Senator Bruce Tarr, whose district includes Wilmington, was awarded the “Humane-Itarian Award” by the Massachusetts School of Law at its 10th Annual Animal Rights Day on Saturday, March 26.
Tarr was recognized for his efforts to protect animals in Massachusetts, including his work on the Protecting Animal Welfare and Safety law, known as the “PAWS” Act in 2014, which he developed and served as primary sponsor.
