WILMINGTON GIVES: Hair Cuttery To Donate Portion of Proceeds To Wilmington Educational Foundation

WILMINGTON, MA — Hair Cuttery will celebrate the one year anniversary of its grand opening in Wilmington, MA by helping raise money and awareness for the Wilmington Educational Foundation. From April 10th – 16th, Hair Cuttery will donate five percent of all proceeds to the charity. The salon is located at 206 Ballardvale Street in the Ballardvale Marketplace.

The Wilmington Educational Foundation is a non-profit that provides support to the Wilmington Public School System through fundraising efforts from various sources. Funds raised are used to award grants for innovative and creative programs that are not covered in the current year’s school district budget.

“We are a family-owned business and feel it’s important to serve as a community partner and support local charities and causes that impact our neighbors, said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “As we celebrate our one year anniversary in Wilmington we look forward to partnering with the Wilmington Educational Foundation and continuing our support of the Wilmington community,” said Ratner.

Hair Cuttery has an established legacy of charitable support. For the past 16 years, it has sponsored Share A Haircut, a national charitable campaign aimed at giving free back-to-school haircuts to children in need as well as haircuts for the homeless. Through partnerships with local social service agencies, Hair Cuttery has donated more than 125,000 haircuts in the last year and more than 950,000 haircuts since the program’s inception in 1999. Hair Cuttery salons also support local charities and community causes through cut-a-thons and donations.
