WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, March 24, 2016:
- Elizabeth Larime (23, Andover) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and speeding. Larime was driving a rental car, which was towed back to the rental car business in Lawrence. (8:45am)
- A caller reported the driver of a white 1999 Chevy Malibu was weaving in and out of traffic on Main Street, yelling obscenities out the window. Woburn Police was notified. (1:05pm)
- Police received a report of a turkey “dangerously close” to the 93 North Exit 38 on-ramp. Animal Control Officer checked both ramps and was unable to locate the turkey. (1:56pm)
- Police received a report of a erratic school bus traveling down Route 62. Police contacted North Reading Transportation, which asked the driver to wait for an officer at the West. Police spoke with the driver and the situation checked OK. Driver was taking off their jacket while driving, causing what it appeared to be erratic behavior. (2:15pm)
- A Dorchester Street resident reported solicitors from a siding company in a white van came to her door. She felt they were suspicious. (3:35pm)
- A Beeching Avenue resident reported she was the victim of identity theft. (6:16pm)
- Fire Department responded to an electrical fire on Quail Run Road. (7:12pm)
