POLICE LOG for March 23: Wilmington Man Arrested For Allegedly Exposing Himself To Child

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, March 23, 2016:

  • A black 2011 Cadillac Escalade and a gray 2004 Chevy Silverado were involved in a minor crash at High Street and Route 62. No injuries reported. (3:01pm)
  • Police notified DPW of a pothole that needed to be addressed in the middle of the road at Marion Street and Mation Street Ext.  (4:39pm)
  • A Woburn Street resident reported a past breaking & entering. Resident requested extra patrols. (5:53pm)
  • Police received report of two young males walking on the guardrail of the Butters Row Bridge. Boys were gone by the time police arrived. (6:20pm)
  • Police received report of protesters blocking the roadway at Bridge Lane, near Kingdom Hall.  Police responded and found no issue of traffic being disturbed. (6:36pm)
  • Suspicious activity was reported at Market Basket. Details were not specified in the police log. (6:37pm)
  • Police received report of two juveniles in the Windsor Place parking lot possibly drinking and using vulgar language towards an employee and a patient. Juveniles were gone by the time police arrived. (7:14pm)
  • Driver of a blue 2014 Subaru Forester reported a hit & run by a small silver sedan at the Glen Road and Middlesex Avenue intersection. (8:02pm)
  • Walter MacDougall (71, Wilmington) was arrested.  Bail was set at $1,040 and posted. Charges were not specified in the police log, but we do know – due to reporting from Channel 7 news — that MacDougall allegedly exposed himself to an 8 year-old girl at Market Basket. (10:48pm)
