5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (March 29, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.

#1) The Town is holding a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility Complex at 8am.  The public is invited. Learn more HERE.

#2) The Wilmington High School Choral and Theatre Support Group (WHS CATS) is holding a “Dining For A Cause” Fundraiser at the 99 Restaurant (144 Lowell Street) from 11am to 11pm. Find the required flyer HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Folk Art Workshop with Johanne Cassia at 5:30pm.  The event is full.

#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is hosting its normal Tuesday activities —  Zumba (9am); Computer Class (9:15am); Aerobics (10:30am); and Wii Bowling (12:30pm).  Learn more HERE.

PLUS: The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.

PLUS: Red Heat Tavern is holding its weekly bar trivia (pub quiz) with Geeks Who Drink from 7pm to 9pm. Learn more HERE.

PLUS: Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue).  The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones.  Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks!  A luncheon is served as noon.  There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.
