#1) The Wilmington Recreation Department is running its Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Wilmington children (ages 6 and under) at 2pm sharp on the Wilmington Town Common. If there’s inclement weather, the Hunt will take place in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria. Learn more HERE.
#2) Today is the FINAL DAY to donate new or like-new prom dresses and purses to Wilmington’s Anton Cleaners (240 Main Street) as part of their “Belle of the Ball” Prom Dress Collection program. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.
#5) Free Tax Preparation is being offered to Wilmington seniors by AARP volunteers at the Reading Municipal Light Department Building (rear), 230 Ash Street, Reading on a walk-in basis, with no appointment needed, Saturday mornings from February 6 through April 9, 2016.
