WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, March 11, 2016:
- Debra Huard (48, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant. She was initially pulled over on Shawsheen Avenue for a broken taillight. (1:51am)
- Gary Morash (59, Woburn) was arrested on a warrant related to traffic offenses. He was pulled over on Salem Street. (7:07am)
- Red Heat Tavern employee reported seeing a suspicious white vehilce in the Burger King parking lot twice since February 19. Employees believe it may be connected to a past breaking & entering. Police investigated and, so far, have been unable to contact the vehicle’s owner. (9:26am)
- Passerby found a syringe near Avis on Main Street. Police retrieved for proper disposal. (10:35am)
- A Stonehedge Drive resident reported a past larceny. (11:54am)
- A Shawsheen School employee reported an unknown adult male laying the field as they brought children out to recess. When employees attempted to rouse him, he didn’t seem coherent. Police located the man and advised him to stay off school property. Police spoke with the school principal about the incident. (12:43pm)
- Market Basket Manager reported a female shoplifter, who left the lot in a black 2015 Nissan Rouge. Vehicle was stopped on Lawrence Street and restitution was made. (5:32pm)
- Sergey Vuytik (31, Newton) was arrested on an OUI Liquor (2nd Offense). Police came upon the man’s vehicle on Middlesex Avenue with 3 flat tires. (9:56pm)
