POLICE LOG for March 8: Theft At Group Home; Wallet Stolen From Gym; Dog Bite; Kids Throwing Rocks

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, March 8, 2016:

  • A missing juvenile from Milestone Group Home on High Street returned. (5:12am)
  • A woman reported she was the victim of a dog bite in the area of Clark Street and Middlesex Avenue. Dog was described as a tan/white medium-sized dog. (6:09am)
  • An Oakridge Circle resident reported a backpack leaf blower was stolen from his locked shed. (10:39am)
  • A caller reported a black pickup truck struck him with the side mirror while running on Lowell Street at Woburn Street. Vehicle continued on. Caller was not injured. (12:03pm)
  • Police received a report of three juveniles throwing rocks at vehicles on Main Street 30 minutes ago.  Kids are no longer there, but caller wanted the incident logged in case future issues arise. (3:53pm)
  • An employee at the Milestone Group Home reported her office was broken into last night, possibly between 9pm and 11pm.  Several items were taken, including a laptop. (4:08pm)
  • Caller reported that while at Planet Fitness on Middlesex Avenue tonight, from 7:42pm to 9:45pm, her wallet and cell phone were taken out of her locker. She went home and found there had been several charges on her credit cards. (11:18pm)
