WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this upcoming Monday, March 14 at 7pm at Town Hall in Room 9.
There is a great deal on the agenda, including:
- Selectmen will consider the request of the owners of Wilmington’s East Coast Diner — opening at 203 Lowell Street — to obtain an all alcohol license.
- Director of Planning & Conservation Valerie Gingrich will discuss an inter-municipal agreement for Metro North Regional Housing Services Office, which would include Wilmington. Selectmen will also receive an update on the town’s Open Space & Recreation Plan.
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide an update on the Fourth of July carnival situation.
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will respond to the Middlesex Canal Commission’s concerns relative to the creation of the Wilmington Town Dog Park.
- Town Manager Jeff Hull will provide an update on grant funding for the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility.
- Selectmen will consider closing and signing the Town Meeting Warrant.
- Selectmen will receive a letter from the Massachusetts State Loteter Commission permitting KENO To Go at Richdale at 335 Main Street.
- Selectmen will consider the request of Julie Rauseo (Wilmington Relay For Life) to light the Town Common purple during the month of May.
- Selectmen will consider the request of Sue Hendee to close a portion of Carter Lane to conduct the annual PanMass Challenge Wilmington Kids Bike Ride on Sunday, May 22, from 8am to 1pm.
- Selectmen will consider the request of the Wilmington Band Parents & Friends to sell coffee, donuts, popcorn, cold drinks, pompoms, & balloons during the Wilmington Memorial Day Parade.
- Selectmen will consider the request of the Wilmington Band Parents & Friends and Wilmington Sons of Italy to use the Swain School Parking Lot on Saturday, May 14, from 7am to 5:30pm, for the purpose of conducting a Yard Sale to raise funds.
The meeting will be telecast live by Wilmington Community Television on WCTV-G — Channel 22 on Comcast and Channel 39 on Verizon. The meeting will also streamed on WCTV’s website HERE.
