POLICE LOG for March 7: Trouble At Shawsheen Skate Park & Courts; Public Intoxication; 1 Arrest

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, March 7, 2016:

  • Police received noise complaints of a group behind Rocco’s.  Police sent the individuals on their way. (12:18am)
  • Nicholas Belanger (19, Wilmington) was arrested on a warrant of apprehension and transported to Woburn District Court. (10:28am)
  • Police received reports of an intoxicated individual on the inbound platform at Wilmington Center.  Police placed Frank George Sosinsky (57, Malden) was placed into protective custody. (12:40pm)
  • Owner of Wilmington Electronics Recycling reported that someone dumped a 40″ television on his property, in front of the “no TV drop off sign.”  Police contacted DPW to remove. (4:25pm)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (5:00pm)
  • A green 2002 Volkswagen Jetta and a gray 2014 Honda CRV were involved in a crash on Andover Street. No injuries noted. Both vehicles towed. (6:18pm)
  • Police received report that a wallet was taken out of an unattended backpack yesterday afternoon at the Shawsheen School Skate Park. Wallet contained an FID card, School ID, and $34. (7:25pm)
  • A caller reported her vehicle has received flat tires twice at her place of employment on Cresent Street, and a co-worker has had the same issue. Police made a log entry and advised her to call if anyone is seen in the area overnight. (7:37pm)
  • Two vehicles were parked on the grass near the Shawsheen School Tennis Courts. Headlights were used to light a hockey game happening in the tennis courts. Police advised vehicles to be moved. (7:51pm)
  • Police responded to a verbal altercation in the parking lot of Regency Place on Horseshoe Lane. (8:54pm)
