POLICE LOG for March 5: Missing A Pair Of Pants?, Items Stolen From Garage

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, March 5, 2016:

  • A West Street resident reported an injured raccoon in the yard. Raccoon was eventually euthanized. (8:21am)
  • Stephanie McComber (30, Billerica) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection sticker. (10:20am)
  • MBTA reported an unattended bag on the outbound platform at the Wilmington Center station. Police found it to be a small suitcase with a pair of pants. Police disposed of suitcase. (5:11pm)
  • A leaf blower, toolbox and assorted hand tools were stolen from an unlocked garage on Gowing Road. (6:45pm)
  • Police located a brown 200 Toyota Camry parked in the St. Thomas parking lot, towards the rear near the woods. It appeared someone was living out of the vehicle. Vehicle was unattended at the time of inspection. (10:13pm)
  • Female caller reported that while driving on Route 38 in Wilmington, a driver in a green pickup truck tailed her and shined a laser into her car. Police were unable to locate the truck. (11:53pm)
