PHOTO OF THE DAY: Preparations For Town Dog Park Underway

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Fire Chief Rick McClellan recently tweeted photos of town DPW workers clearing land next to Town Park for the forthcoming Town Dog Park at 823 Main Street. Based on bid documents published by the town, it seems the park will be ready for residents and their dogs in June.

The bid documents also include an initial site plan for the Town Dog Park, which indicates there will be an enclosed area (13,597 square feet) for all dogs AND a smaller enclosed area (6,658 square feet) for small dogs.  The plan also calls for multiple park benches and signage for the park’s rules.
