CANTON, MA — So what’s the big idea as Dunkin’ Donuts readies for spring? Only the brand’s biggest breakfast sandwich launch of the year, as today Dunkin’ Donuts unveiled the new GranDDe Burrito. Big, bold and bursting with flavor, the GranDDe Burrito is a large, 10-ounce breakfast burrito that begins with a delicious tortilla filled with a spicy omelet with jalapenos, red bell peppers and pepper jack cheese with habanero. Dunkin’ Donuts then packs in a rice and bean blend that also includes corn, fire-roasted peppers and onions. Served in both sausage and veggie versions, the GranDDe Burrito is available any time of day at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants nationwide for a limited time beginning February 29.
According to Dunkin’ Brands’ Executive Chef Jeff Miller, “Our guests know that Dunkin’ Donuts does breakfast big by regularly introducing innovative choices and making our entire menu available any time of day. With our new GranDDe Burrito, we’re giving both breakfast and burrito fans alike an exciting new option, with two versions that are large and absolutely loaded with flavor and delicious ingredients to satisfy anyone’s appetite at any time during a busy day.”
As thoughts turn to warmer weather, guests can sip the flavor of their favorite scoop with the return of coffee flavors inspired by Baskin-Robbins ice cream. Choices include a new Pistachio flavor, and returning fan favorites, Butter Pecan and Cookie Dough. Beginning February 29, all flavors are available in hot or iced coffee, lattes and macchiatos at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants through spring.
Finally, Dunkin’ Donuts is giving donut lovers a delicious new way to ring in spring, introducing the new Strawberry Shortcake Croissant Donut. The Strawberry Shortcake Croissant Donut features Dunkin’ Donuts’ classic glazed Croissant Donut with a strawberry buttercreme filling, finished with white and strawberry icing drizzle. For another sweet treat to enjoy with your favorite iced coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts is also bringing back two varieties of Cheesecake Squares, including the OREO® Cheesecake Square and Raspberry Cheesecake Square. The OREO® and Raspberry Cheesecake Squares are filled with smooth and creamy cheesecake filling, frosted with white icing and finished with raspberry flavored candy or crumbled OREO® cookies.
