POLICE LOG for February 21: Wilmington Man Arrested For Drugs; Reports of Suspicious Activity

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, February 21, 2016:

  • Scot Edgerly (50, Wilmington) was arrested for possession of a Class B drug.  Richard Gagnon (51, Methuen) was placed into protective custody. The men were in a blue 2001 Chevrolet S-10 on Blanchard Road. (2:19am)
  • A Marjorie Road caller reported an SUV driving slowly and taking pictures of houses on the street.  Police responded but vehicle was gone on arrival. (1:00pm)
  • Police received report of a woman running back and fourth along Route 125.  Police transported woman to Tewksbury.  Woman had been in argument with her boyfriend, exited his vehicle in Andover, and was walking on Route 125. (2:22pm)
  • A driver was given a verbal warning for a fire lane violation at Lucci’s. (5:16pm)
  • Police received report of a suspicious male in the parking lot of Care One at Wilmington on Woburn Street, looking into vehicles.  Man was described as wearing baggy sweatpants and a sweatshirt.  Police responded but man was gone on arrival. (6:20pm)
