5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (February 28, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, February 28, 2016.

#1) The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks Lodge #2070 is holding its annual Veterans Breakfast from 7:30am to 10am at the Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury).Breakfast includes a buffet of fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and more, with coffee, tea and juice served. Tickets cost $7.  Proceeds from the Breakfast will support wounded and disabled military men and women returning from oversea service through a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.

#2) The Social Concerns Committee of Wilmington United Methodist Church is holding a coffeehouse presentation and discussion on human trafficking and modern day slavery in the United States and internationally from 12:30pm to 2pm at the Church (87 Church Street).  Learn more HERE.

#3) TODAY is the DEADLINE to order your 2016 Wilmington Autism Awareness T-Shirt from Champion’s Choice.  Learn more about this WONDERFUL cause HERE.

#4) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm.  Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.
