WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Youth Hockey Association is hosting the 3rd Annual Chicks with Sticks Charity Game on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
Our teams will face off at 3pm in the Stoneham Arena (101 Montvale Avenue, Stoneham) to shoot for a common goal. Mother against mother, they will skate to raise funds to fight breast cancer and support the mission of Wilmington Youth Hockey.
Last year, the event packed the stands, raising over $28,000 for our causes. 35% of the proceeds were donated to local breast cancer charities. In addition, new jerseys and socks were purchased for all Wilmington Youth Hockey players while keeping our registration fees the same.
This year, the board has voted to increase the game’s contribution to breast cancer to 50%. The participants are motivated and excited to host another successful fundraising event.
Please support these moms’ initiatives and make a donation today! They eagerly accept and wholeheartedly appreciate cash donations, plus items/ memorabilia that can be raffled off at the game. Cash donations can be easily processed HERE. All donors will be showcased in the game day program. All donations must be submitted by 3/31/16.
