POLICE LOG for February 17: Vehicle Stolen From Plaza; Snow Shoveling Etiquette

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, February 17, 2016:

  • Police received an anonymous report of a Veranda Avenue resident pushing snow into the street.  Police responded.  Resident was clearing snow to prevent flooding. Police advised him not to put snow in the street. (11:07am)
  • Elisha Rae Comei (28, Groveland) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection ticker. (11:51am)
  • Police received report of vehicle into the guardrail on 93 South.  Fire Department responded. State Police handled scene. (1:34pm)
  • Police received complaint of ATV being operated in the woods behind Town Hall. Police was unable to locate ATV. (3:19pm)
  • A gray 2006 Nissan Murano and a black 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix were involved in a minor crash on Middlesex Avenue. No injuries reported. (3:20pm)
  • A man reported he left his car in the Market Basket parking lot on Monday and when he returned for it today, it was gone. Police logged the missing vehicle into their database.  Vehicle is a gray 2005 Hyundai Elantra. (8:33pm)
