POLICE LOG for February 16: Fire On Oak St., Car vs. Tree, Car vs. Pole

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 16, 2016:

  • A gray 2000 Toyota Camry struck a tree on Shawsheen Avenue. No injuries reported. Vehicle was towed. (1:16am)
  • A brown 2005 Suzuki Forenza struck a pole at Main Street and Richmond Street.  Yellow pole in the middle of the traffic island was damaged. Police notified Mass Highway. (9:05am)
  • A gray 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a blue 2013 BMW were involved in a crash at Route 125 and Ballardvale Street. No injuries reported. (12:08pm)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (1:41pm)
  • Police assisted the Fire Department with a fire at 5 Oak Street.  No injuries reported. No one was home at time of fire. (2:01pm)
  • A caller reported a truck was driving around wildly in the parking lot of Art of the Event on Middlesex Avenue, kicking up snow and dirt. (4:25pm)
  • A caller reported a vehicle parked behind her car, blocking her in, in the Wilmington Plaza parking lot.  Caller stated man came out of Market Basket and hit her mirror with his door.  Caller was advised to stay in locked vehilce until officers arrived on scene. (4:54pm)
  • Police notified Reading Municipal Light of a power outage in the Morse Avenue area. (6:29pm)
