WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, February 15, 2016:
- A Leonard Lane resident reported their ID was stolen, with multiple accounts opened in Texas and high-dollar purchases made. (9:08am)
- Flooding occurred at some of the apartments at Whispering Pines on Salem Street. Fire Department was able to contain the flooding. Prior to containment, Elderly Services Director agreed to open the Senior Center and Red Cross was notified. (1:51pm)
- Police offered assistance when a 7 month-old was locked in a vehicle at IM Wireless on Main Street. (3:44pm)
- A gray 2013 Subaru Impreza and a black 1997 Ford F150 were involved in a crash at Lowell Street and West Street. No injuries reported. One vehicle was towed. (5:01pm)
- Police officer witnessed spinout on 93 South, prior to Exit 38, as the officer was on the overpass. A truck in the first travel lane was facing the wrong direction. State Police was notified. Truck was safely pulling off as police arrived. (9:06pm)
- At the request of Hingham Police, Wilmington Police located a man who had been making suicidal threats to his girlfriend. The Fire Department transported him to Winchester Hospital. (9:08pm)
- A missing juvenile returned to the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (10:11pm)
