WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, February 14, 2016:
- Police responded to a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Sunny Side Cafe on Jefferson Road. Situation checked OK. Occupants were a father and son taking a nap en route to Quebec. (1:00am)
- A Pine Avenue caller reported a car was racing up and down the road for the past 30-45 minutes. Police checked the area and vehicle was gone upon arrival. (4:01am)
- Throughout the morning and afternoon, residents on Piling Road, Cleveland Avenue, Clark Terrace, Scaltrito Drive, Pilling Road, Mill Road, and Faneuil Drive called to report no water pressure. Police notified the Water Department.
- A Salem Street caller reported a possible leak from a water pipe line. Police notified the Water Department. (9:18am)
- A Faulkner Avenue caller reported a frozen water line in her house. Police notified the Water Department. (11:07am)
- A Salem Street caller reported a possible injured baby deer at the side of the road. Police was unable to locate. (1:34pm)
- Police responded to complaint of a dog left in a vehicle at Red Heat Tavern. Police located the owner inside the restaurant, who said they’d be leaving shortly. (5:45pm)
- Burlington Police requested a cruiser on the Wilmington/Burlington town line to locate a white male in a t-shirt with no shoes on for a well-being check. Wilmington Police was unable to locate the man. (11:46pm)
