WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, February 12, 2016:
- An officer covered for the high school’s crossing guard who was out sick. (6:57am)
- Police issued a citation for failure to stop for a school bus on Lowell Street. (7:44am)
- A blue 2004 Chrysler Sebring and a black 2010 Chevy Tahoe were involved in a minor crash at Nextel on Main Street. No injuries reported. (7:54am)
- K9 Ridic assisted in a narcotics search at Watertown High School. (8:01am)
- Jonathan E. Royer (20, Lawrence) was arrested on warrants for operating with a suspended registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. (11:22am)
- An Arnold Road caller stated she received a phone call from somebody claiming to be from CVS asking her about her prescription. She believed it to be a scam call. (2:29pm)
- Employees at Sonic reported there were school-aged kids refusing to leave the store. Kids then left before police arrival. (3:45pm)
- A missing juvenile was reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (3:56pm)
- David Keating (53, North Andover) was placed in protective custody. Employee at Red Heat Tavern reported he had too much to drink and was causing a disturbance while trying to get into his vehicle. (8:28pm)
