POLICE LOG for February 11: False Alarms, Car Crashes, Missing Jewelry

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, February 11, 2016:

  • A caller on Ballardvale Street reported his truck was hit sometime since Tuesday and there is a hole in the side with damage. Police responded to take a report. (3:31am)
  • The panic alarm at Panera Bread went off.  Police responded.  Situation checked OK. Employees moved baked goods, bumped the keypad, and did not know the store alarm code. (3:42am)
  • K9 Ridic helped in a narcotics search at Burlington High School. (8:35am)
  • People’s United Bank on Main Street notified police they had towed a vehicle improperly parked in their lot.  (1:09pm)
  • A gray 2001 Volkswagen Golf and a gray 2012 Toyota Tacoma were involved in a crash near Rite Aid on Main Street.  No injuries reported. (4:16pm)
  • A Glen Road homeowner reported his front door was open and side yard motion light was activated.  He requests an officer to check the area.  Police searched the area, which checked OK. (6:25pm)
  • A Lords Court resident reported jewelry missing from her home. (6:43pm)
  • A red 2014 Freightliner Truck and a gray 2011 Chevy Cruze were involved in a crash on Ballardvale Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles towed. (11:00pm)
