5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (February 18, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, February 18, 2016.

#1) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running FOUR programs today — “Minecraft Fun” for Grades 3 to 5 at 10am; a Concert from the “Senior Tones Band” from 2:30pm to 3:30pm; “Paper Mache Boxes” craft for Grades 4 to 8 at 3:45pm; and a Book Discussion of “Ordinary Grace” by William Kent Krueger at 7pm.  Learn more and register HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Elderly Services Commission meets at 1:30pm at the Senior Center. Read the agenda HERE.  The Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5:30pm at Town Hall (Room 9).  Read the agenda HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday activities — Computer Class (9:15am); Art Class (10am); Aerobics (10:30am); Knitting/Crocheting (11am); and Games Day (1pm).  Learn more HERE.

#4) The Merrimack Valley Chorus is holding its weekly open rehearsal at 7pm at the Wilmington Arts Council (219 Middlesex Avenue). Do you like to sing? Do you enjoy performing? Come to a rehearsal and sing with the group! You just might discover a passion for a cappella singing, and you’ll also make some great new friends.

#5) WHS Girls Varsity Hockey takes on Wakefield at 1pm at the Stoneham Ice Arena.
