WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 9, 2016:
- A red 2014 Toyota RAV4 and a black 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee were involved in a crash on Route 125 at the 93 North Exit 41 on-ramp. State Police was notified. No injuries reported. (7:33am)
- A caller reported a dead opossum on the sidewalk in front of a Hopkins Street house. Animal Control Officer responded. (9:22am)
- A Forest Street caller reported a cable wire was hanging low over the street. Police notified Comcast. (10:16am)
- A man was threatening employees at the Water Department. Police responded, but man had already left the area. (1:22pm)
- The owner of Arrow Paper Corporation on Andover Street reported an employee stole $60,000 to $100,000 over a period of three years. No further details in log. (2:23pm)
- A resident reported she was dropped off by a Mass Health transportation bus and while it was backing up, it ran over a few of her items. (4:48pm)
- A caller reported that will using the ATM at Citizens Bank, a man walked very close to her vehicle, then proceeded to watch her. He then headed in the direction of Panera Bread. Police responded, but were unable to locate the man. (6:23pm)
- Police confiscated a Class D substance from a person in a vehicle parking in front of Wilmington House of Pizza on Main Street. (9:39pm)
