WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, February 8, 2016:
- A large tree limb was moved to the side of the road on Burlington Avenue. Police notified DPW for removal. (4:14am)
- Oakrdige Circle Ext. resident reported a down wire in her driveway. (9:35am)
- Wires were reported down across the roadway on Adams Street. Police notified Comcast. (10:48am)
- A black 2001 Ford Taurus struck a traffic light pole at Main Street and Clark Street. No injuries noted. Fire Department responded. Police notified Mass Highway. (12:57pm)
- A black 2015 GMC Sierra and a blue 2009 Chevy Impala were involved in a crash on Hopkins Street. No injuries reported. One driver was issued a summons for operating after registration revocation and operating without a license. (2:38pm)
- A caller reported her husband was bit by a feral cat on Canal Street. Caller and husband are at Lahey Clinic. Police notified Animal Control Officer. (4:33pm)
- Adam Long (21, Billerica) was issued a summons for leaving the scene of property damage and marked lanes violation. Long’s brown 2002 Mercury Sable struck a pole on Richmond Street. Police notified Billerica Police and Mass Highway. (6:37pm)
- Police assisted man who locked himself out of his running car at Conformis on Research Drive. (11:52pm)
