WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, February 7, 2016:
- Ryan Scotti (41, Woburn) was issued a summons for the negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. (1:53am)
- A low hanging wire was reported on Beech Street. Police notified RMLD. (12:18pm)
- A caller reported an unattended child in a vehicle in the Market Basket parking lot. Police responded and had a conversation with the father. Child checked OK. (2:26pm)
- A caller reported a tree had fallen was blocking half the road on Oakwood Road. Police notified DPW. (3:01pm)
- A caller reported two men entered a house on Main Street by climbing through a window. Police responded. One of the men actually lived there and had simply locked his keys inside. Situation checked OK. (5:06pm)
- A walk-in party reported that a traffic light may be missing at Main Street and Clark Street. Police felt it was possibly taken by Mass Highway due to it not being secured over the roadway, but will follow up. (6:10pm)
- Police received report of an older model silver Chevy Impala speeding up and down Parker Street with a loud exhaust. Police were unable to locate the vehicle. (10:46pm)
