5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (February 14, 2016)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, February 14, 2016.

#1) St. Thomas is holding “Scout Sunday” at its 9am mass. All scouts and scout leaders are asked to meet in front of the church by 8:45am. The mass will celebrate the birth of Scouting and recognize past and present scouts — both boys and girls — and leaders involved in the scouting program. #2) The Wilmington Dance Academy Team presents its 2nd Annual Father-Daughter Valentine’s Day Ball from 10am to 1pm at the Wilmington Dance Academy (335 Main Street). The event is currently SOLD OUT.  Learn more HERE.

#3) The Commerford Kid’s Fun Fair & Traveling Zoo visits the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) from 10am to 6pm.  Learn more HERE.

#4) The Middlesex Canal Association is holding its Winter Meeting from 1pm to 2pm at the Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica). The event is open to the public.  The featured speaker will be noted artist, author, and educator, Tom Dahill, Professor Emeritus of Fine Arts at Emerson College. The topic of his talk will be the two watercolors of the Middlesex Canal Summit Pond (circa 1822) in North Billerica.  Learn more HERE.

#5) Today is National Donor Day.  The Massachusetts Department of Health encourages Wilmington residents to become organ donors.  Learn more HERE.
