POLICE LOG for February 2: 3 Summons Issued, Counterfeit Money Investigation At Target

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, February 2, 2016:

  • Joseph R. Costa (23, Billerica) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (6:30am)
  • The pedestrian crosswalk light at Main Street and Lowell Street was not functioning. Police notified Mass Highway. (9:32am)
  • Christopher Myrie (42, New York) was issued a summons larceny over $250 (3 counts), conspiracy, and common uttering of counterfeit notes. Myrie was caught after a WPD police investigation at Target on Ballardvale Street. (10:40am)
  • Woodbriar Nursing Home notified police of an abandoned vehicle, possibly with a missing transmission, that has been in there rear parking lot for over a week. Maintenance worker will attempt to contact vehicle owner, or tow the vehicle. (11:46am)
  • A blue 2013 Honda CRV and a black 2014 Buick Verano were involved in a minor crash in the Target parking lot. No injuries. (12:14pm)
  • Joseph DeSimone (19, North Reading) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (1:36pm)
  • K9 Ridic received some training at the Woburn Street School. (1:53pm)
  • Driver of a blue 2010 Chevy Equinox was issued a citation for texting while driving on Aldrich Road. (9:05pm)
