WILMINGTON, MA — Abundant Life Christian School and Learning Center (173 Church Street) will host its first RaiseUp Giving Day on Tuesday, February 23.
“We’ve been working toward this day for a long time,” stated ALCS administrator Patti Hobart. “While funds have been raised for specific projects or equipment here at Abundant Life, this is the year we’ll begin reaching out to alumni, current families and community friends to invest in our newly established scholarship fund.”
The scholarship fund will provide donors with the opportunity to help families for whom Christian education may be financially out of reach. Academics are combined with faith-based emphasis in character growth and service to the greater community.
“Our children attend ALCS for the warm, encouraging teachers and staff who teach to the individual student…challenging their strengths and exercising positive reinforcement as students develop socially,” current parent Kristin Dunbar said.
“The academics at ALCS thoroughly equipped my sons to continue excelling at each of their respective private high schools,” alumnus parent Robert Traer said. “I highly recommend ALCS from the Learning Center through the Middle School Program.”
Christine DiGiovanni, ALCS & LC development director and alumna parent, shared that ALCS will partner with the Association of Christian Schools International for the first ever 24-hour nationwide giving event in February.
“Partnering with ACSI gives us access to the online tools needed to execute our RaiseUp giving campaign,” said DiGiovanni.
