WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets this Monday, February 8 at 7pm at Town Hall in Room 9.
There is a great deal on the agenda, including:
- Selectmen will appoint Wilmington’s next Animal Control Officer
- Town Manager Hull will provide an update on the Glen Road/Middlesex Avenue/Wildwood Street Intersection Improvement Project
- Town Manager Hull will provide an update on the Yentile Farm Recreational Facility
- Town Manager Hull will provide an update on the Sutton Brook Superfund Site
- Selectmen will be provided with a letter from Fourth of July Committee Scott Garrant, updating Selectmen on the latest news regarding the Committee’s special permit application in front of the Board of Appeals
- Selectmen will learn how much “free cash” the town was recently certified as having
- Selectmen will appoint election workers for 2016
- Selectmen will sign the warrant for the Presidential Primary on March 1
- Selectmen will hear about 2015 complaint data from Comcast and Verizon
- Selectmen will receive an invitation to participate in the National March for Meals Campaign from Minutemen Senior Services
- Selectmen will consider the request of the resident to use Rotary Park and the playground on Saturday, March 19, from noon to 3pm, for an unspecified event
- Selectmen will consider the request of the Recreation Commission to use the Town Common for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at 2pm
The meeting will be telecast live by Wilmington Community Television on WCTV-G — Channel 22 on Comcast and Channel 39 on Verizon. The meeting will also streamed on WCTV’s website HERE.
