WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, January 23, 2016:
- A Grace Drive resident called to report a water main break in front of their house. Police notified the Water Department. (12:22am)
- Police encountered a Wilmington man at Cumberland Farm on Main Street that claimed to have been assaulted on Jones Avenue. Police transported man to the station, and then to his home. (2:13am)
- A gray 2006 Chevy Aveo and a gray 2006 Toyota Corolla were involved in a crash at the entrance of Speedway on Main Street. No injuries reported. (10:48am)
- Walk-in party reported he lost his $600 iPhone at a recent party on Lowell Street. (11:10am)
- A red 2016 Chevy Malibu and a brown 2005 Jeep Wrangler were involved in a crash near Rocco’s No injuries reported. (11:17am)
- Billerica Animal Control Officer left a humane trap at a Deming Way home for the resident’s runaway cat. (12:26am)
- A gray 2010 Ford Fusion and a black 2015 Nissan Pathfinder were involved in a crash at Burlington Avenue and Deming Way. No injuries reported. (12:30pm)
- Manager at Sonic reported a large struck driving recklessly in their parking lot, doing donuts in the drive-thru, almost striking a post and another vehicle. Police stopped the truck on Richmond Street. Teen driver was cited for several violations. Police waited for parents to arrive to pick up 2 of the truck’s passengers. Sonic Manager will email surveillance of the incident to the station. (6:20pm)
