WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, January 21, 2016:
- A Marcia Road resident worried a donation she made to a police department was actually a scam. (7:07am)
- A white 2010 Dodge Challenger and a gray 2010 Ford Escape were involved in a crash at Ballardvale Street and Route 125. No injuries reported. State Police handled the scene. (9:09am)
- A trucker driver reported finding a suitcase full of pictures and books across from Wilmington Cold Storage on Industrial Way. He wanted the incident logged in case someone reported it missing. (11:32am)
- Police issued a verbal warning for failure to clear snow from a vehicle. (2:33pm)
- A Grove Avenue resident reported that while she was out, her 13 year-old daughter told her two men rang the doorbell and, when confronted, ran down the driveway, got into a white sedan and sped off. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. (7:10pm)
- A Benson Road caller reported receiving threatening phone calls. (7:41pm0
- A missing juvenile returned to the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (11:57pm)
