POLICE LOG for January 20: Nails Done? Gotta Run! 2 Women Busted For Non-Payment At Salon

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, January 20, 2016:

  • A resident reported receiving threatening text messages. (10:45am)
  • Matthew Milliken (27, Melrose) was issued a summons for larceny under $200.  Milliken allegedly stole cigarettes from Sonny’s Mobil on the Run on Lowell St. (10:49am)
  • Police issued a verbal warning to the driver of a vehicle parked in the fire lane in front of Market Basket. (2:49pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported three small kids were playing on a pond on Chestnut Street. Police checked the area and could not locate anyone. (4:13pm)
  • Police responded to traffic complaints of three teenagers impeding traffic in the Everett Avenue/Cunningham Street area. (4:16pm)
  • Police issued summons to Alelia Whalen (26, Wilmington) and Jessica Phelan (22, Methuen) for larceny under $200.  Both women allegedly got their nails down at Elegant Touch Nails on Main Street and left without paying. (5:50pm)
  • A missing juvenile was reported from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (6:06pm)
  • A hit and run between a white 2000 Buick Park Avenue and a blue 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix occurred in the Market Basket parking lot. (6:22pm)
  • Casey Heffernan (46, Wilmington) was issued a summons for assault and battery. (8:36pm)
