WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington School Committee Secretary Julie Broussard announced her campaign for re-election to the Wilmington School Committee today.
“It’s been an honor to serve the children of Wilmington on the committee. Along with Superintendent DeLai, we have a great team of caring individuals supporting the Mission and Core Values of Wilmington Public Schools. While we have built momentum towards our strategic objectives and priorities, there is still work to be done. Through my efforts these past 3 years, I hope I have gained your trust and earned your support for another 3 years.”
During her service, Broussard led the committee’s search for a new Superintendent after Ms. DeLai’s predecessor retired. She was part of the School Committee handbook revision team. She continues to chair the Superintendent Evaluation subcommittee.
“For every policy discussion we have, every vote we take, every project we tackle, my responsibility is to the children of Wilmington. I believe public education should be inclusive, challenging, individualized, safe and supportive for our children. I am a voice for ALL Wilmington children.”
