5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (January 27, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

#1) The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Wilmington is holding its kickoff for the annual event from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Ninety Nine Restaurant (144 Lowell Street).  Learn more HERE.

#2) The Boston Bruins is scheduled to hold a public practice at 11am at Ristuccia Arena (190 Main Street).  Learn more HERE.

#3) Cub Scouts Pack 56 is hosting its annual Lego Derby form 7pm to 8pm at the Wilmington Congregational Church (220 Middlesex Avenue).  Open to all boys — kindergarten to 4th grade.  Learn what the Cub Scouts are all about!

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding ‘Nutrition for the New Year: Three Easy Meals’ at 7pm. Learn more and register HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.

PLUS: The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Wednesday activities — Exercising at 9:45am and 11am and Country Line Dancing at 1pm.  Learn more HERE.

PLUS: The WHS Boys Wrestling team hosts Malden at 6pm at Wilmington High.  The WHS Girls Hockey travels to Reading at 6pm in the Burbank Arena.  The WHS Boys Hockey travels to Reading at 7:45pm in the Burbank Arena.
