POLICE LOG for January 15: Stolen Truck, Kids Behaving Badly At Plaza, 1 Arrest

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, January 15, 2016:

  • A white 2009 Toyota Tacoma was burglarized while in the lot at Anytime Fitness.  The truck’s passenger side window was smashed and numerous items were stolen.  Video shows a black or Hispanic male casing numerous vehicles before breaking into the truck. (10:15am)
  • Police assisted with Mr. Kelley’s funeral escort from Nichols Funeral Home and (9:44am) and assisted with traffic after the funeral at St. Dorothy’s. (11:18am)
  • A juvenile was reported missing from Milestone Group Home on High Street. (1:27pm)  2 additions juveniles were reported missing. (5:11pm)  A missing juvenile was located by Chelsea Police. (11:52pm)
  • A blue 2004 Ford F-350 was stolen from Superior Seal Coat on Andover Street.  The truck had a 8-foot Fisher Minute Mount plow attached.  Police put out a BOLO alert. (2:41pm)
  • A group of 15 middles school students were sent on their way from in front of CVS. (3:15pm)
  • Police responded to reports of 6-10 youths inside Panera Bread causing a disturbance. (4:53pm)
  • A Laundry-Land USA customer reported the employee was trying to close up early while she still had clothes in the dryer.  Police restored the peace. (7:21pm)
  • Martin J. Kuchler (47, Woburn) was arrested for vandalizing property (defacement of real or personal property), intimidating a witness, and resisting arrest.  (8:11pm)
