OBITUARY: Thomas O. MacFeeley, 74

Thomas O. MacFeeley, 74, of Derry, NH passed away January 15, 2016 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Care Center of Derry, after a period of declining health. Mr. MacFeeley was born March 7, 1941 in Winchester, MA and was a son of the late Angus B. and Frances (Roome) MacFeeley. He was raised and educated in Wilmington, MA and was a graduate of Shawsheen Technical High School. Mr. MacFeeley was a resident of N. Billerica, MA prior to relocating to Derry 10 years ago.

Mr. MacFeeley was a veteran of the US Army and was a longtime member of American Legion Post 136 of Wilmington. He was employed for many years as a Special Education Counselor with South Bay Mental Health Services of Lawrence. He was also a scout leader in Wilmington for many years.

Members of the family include four nieces and nephews, Paul Robertson of Dracut, Ann Christian and her husband Kenneth of Tyngsboro, Patrick Robertson of Lowell, and Tammy Streck and her husband Mike of Dracut as well as many great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three siblings, Neil MacFeeley, Elizabeth Robertson and Patricia MacFeeley.

After cremation, services are being planned by the family for a later date.
