POLICE LOG for January 14: One Man’s Trash Is Another Man’s Treasure

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, January 14, 2016:

  • Valdo Braga (54, Lowell) was issued a summons a motor vehicle with a revoked license.  He was cited on Biggar Avenue. (2:49am)
  • A blue 2008 Honda CRV and a gray 2012 Cadillac were involved in a minor crash on Middlesex Avenue and Glen Road. (7:21am)
  • Fire Department transported a man in need of assistance walking on Middlesex Avenue.  Police confiscated a small amount of class D and a knife. (7:55am)
  • A Main Street caller reported a dump trunk with NH plates was dumping trash into their construction dumpster.  Police responded and found individuals in dump truck were also taking scrap metal from the dumpster.  Property owner was notified and stated they did not have consent.  Police watched while the scrap metal was placed back in to the dumpster and the trash was cleaned up. (12:35pm)
  • A brown 2009 Infiniti and a black 2001 Honda Accord were involved in a crash at Church Street and Adams Street. No injuries reported. (6:08pm)
  • Wilnor Tereau (34, South Dennis) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a suspended registration. (10:00pm)
  • A gray 2006 Subaru Legacy drove off the road on Andover Street. No injuries. Vehicle was towed. (11:08pm)
