POLICE LOG for January 11: Children On Scooters Causing Problems

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 11, 2016:

  • An Aldrich Road caller reported she thinks her vehicle may have been tampered with.  Her son thought he saw glass on the ground near the vehicle. Police spoke with the homeowner and checked the vehicle. No damage was noted. (1:22am)
  • A caller reported his brother made threats to “shoot up” a gym in Somerville.  Police was unable to make contact at his residence.  Police notified the Somerville Police Department, who would handle. (9:39am)  Police followed up with both original caller and caller’s brother — determined not threats were made. Police notified the Somerville Police Department again. (10:01am)
  • Complaints of four youths on scooters were in the drive through lane at CVS.  Police located the youths at Panera and advised them. (4:06pm)
  • A gray 2007 Mitsubishi Galant and a black 2000 Saab were involved in a crash on Main Street. No injuries were reported. (9:42pm)
  • A Hispanic male in his 20’s picked up 2 juveniles from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. A BOLO (be-on-the-lookout) alert was issued and the two juveniles were entered into the missing persons registry. (9:55pm)
