WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, January 9, 2016:
- Report of cement in the road on Route 62 and Andover Street. Highway Department said cement needed to be cleaned up by Benevento’s. Police spoke with Benevento, who said they would handle. (9:30am)
- Employee of the Milestone Group Home on High Street reported a juvenile had gone missing after walking out of school. (11:08am)
- A red 2015 Toyota Prius and a white 2002 Ford Explorer were involved in a crash at AL Prime on Main Street. No injuries reported. One vehicle was towed. (12:38pm)
- Two callers reporting one male and one female are running in and out of traffic, yelling at cars in the McDonald’s/Wilmington Plaza area. Area was clear by the time police arrived. (1:58pm)
- A gray 2012 Toyota Sienna and a gray 2010 Ford Pickup Truck were involved in a hit and run in the Target parking lot around 3pm. Security footage was able to identify the involved vehicle. Driver was unaware he struck the vehicle. Paperwork was exchanged. (6:05pm)
- A passerby reported a suspicious van in the parking lot of St. Thomas. Police responded. A cleaning company was cleaning the floors in the basement. (11:36pm)
