5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (January 15, 2016)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, January 15, 2016.

#1) The funeral service for WHS beloved teacher and coach Frank Kelley will be held at 10am at St. Dorothy’s (120 Main Street).  The Town Crier reports a get together will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall.  Burial services will be private on Saturday.  Read Mr. Kelley’s obituary HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a Drop-In Storytime at 10am for ages 2 to 5. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is its regular Friday activities — Video Exercise (10am), Special Exercise (11am), Bingo (1pm) and Cards (1pm).  Learn more HERE.

#4) The WHS Boys Varsity Basketball and Girls Varsity Basketball teams travel to Burlington High.  Boys play at 5pm.  Girls play at 7pm.

#5)  Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) is hosting Karaoke from Winnell Entertainment at 8pm.

PLUS: Outside burning of brush and garden debris will be allowed in Wilmington BEGINNING TODAY through May 1st.  Residents must call the Fire Department at 978-658-3346 to receive permission to burn and be made aware of the rules and regulations regarding open burning.
