POLICE LOG for January 5: Man Allegedly Throws Ax & Tries To Rundown Resident

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are TEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, January 5, 2016:

  • A missing juvenile returned to Milestone Group Home. (6:42am)
  • A two-car motor vehicle crash occurred on 93 South, near Exit 38.  State Police handled the scene. (7:08am)
  • A black 2015 Subaru and a gray 2009 Ford F350 were involved in a minor crash at Burlington Avenue and Boutwell Street.  One vehicle had an airbag deployed.  Occupants refused medical treatment.  One vehicle was towed. (7:18am)
  • A white 2010 Toyota Corolla and a black 2007 Mazda CX7 were involved in a minor crash at Sonny’s Mobile on the Run on Lowell Street.  No injuries reported. (7:59am)
  • A walk-in party reported that sometime around 8am this morning on Woburn STreet, his side mirror struck the mirror of another vehicle passing in the opposite driection.  The other vehicle did not stop.  Party wanted the incident logged. (10:45am)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported a man was attempting to run him over and threw an ax at his house.  Man left prior to the officers’ arrival. (12:24pm)
  • A Pilling Road cat was placed under a 45-day quarantine by the Billerica Animal Control Officer. (1:42pm)
  • A passing motorist reported a horse laying down on the ground on a property on Chestnut Street.  Horse checked out okay. (2″33pm)
  • A gray 2009 Toyota Gamry and a black 2012 Nissan Altima were involved in a crash at the 93 North 40 ramp.  Both vehicles were towed. Both operators refused medical treatment. (5:46pm)
  • Another juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. Juvenile quickly returned. (5:53pm, 6:15pm)
