WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, January 3, 2016:
- Taylor Addison Apgar (26, Wilmington) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration; operating a motor vehicle with an unlicensed operation; and no inspection sticker. (1:19am)
- A party waiting for the train was smoking marijuana. Police arrived and warned the party about smoking marijuana in public. Party had finished smoking prior to the officers’ arrival. (7:00am)
- A black 2014 Chevy Equinox and a USPS struck were involved in a crash on Main Street. No injuries noted. US Postal Service struck was towed. (11:06am)
- A caller reported that as he exited from Santander Bank on Main Street, a Hispanic male in a blue Kia Sorrenta asked him if wanted to buy some “brown.” Caller said no and left the area. Police were unable to locate the individual. (12:28pm)
- A vendor from the Antiques Fair at the Shriners Auditorium claimed some of his items were stolen after the event last night. (12:31pm)
- A Forest Street caller reported rusty water. Police contacted the Water Department. (1:09pm)
- A missing teen returned to Milestone Group Home on High Street. (1:28pm)
- A Hobson Avenue resident’s credit card was used fraudulently at a restaurant in Lawrence. Police told the resident to cancel the card and contact the Lawrence Police. (4:38pm)
- A walk-in party lost his debit card on December 31 at Sonic in Wilmington. Since then, card has been used fraudulently in Lowell, Tewksbury and Methuen. (6:57pm)
