First Impressions *RR

In a networked social-mediated world, every detail of every candidate can be searched and scrutinized. A good first impression, whether in person or online, has become crucial to a candidate’s success in the job market. This presentation will examine verbal, nonverbal, conscious, unconscious, and electronic elements of a good first impression. Presented by Randall Warniers, facilitator and member of the leadership team at Acton Networkers.

Did you get a new iPad for Christmas? Bring your iPad and get guided hands-on experience. Such topics as connecting to a new wireless network, what different gestures do, downloading apps, and borrowing e-books will be covered. Taught by Technology Librarian, Brad McKenna.
