POLICE LOG for January 1: Police Respond To Late Night New Year’s Calls

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, January 1, 2016:

  • An anonymous caller reported a loud party on Eleanor Drive.  Police responded and heard no loud noise. (12:27am)
  • Police responded to a loud noise complaint at Ashwood Avenue. Police spoke with the homeowner, who agreed to turn down the music. (2:15am)
  • Police responded to parties who came off the train intoxicated. Police transported them home to a responsible party. (2:18am)
  • Douglas J. DiPesa (37, Lawrence) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a license and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violations. (5:30pm)
  • Milestone Group Home on High Street reported two of the missing juveniles from last night have returned. (10:04pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported underage drinking at a residence.  Police responded and saw no signs of underage drinking and noted the parents were home. (10:12pm)
  • Police located 2 juveniles from Milestone Group Home at the Woburn Street School.  Milestone said they did not have permission to be out and requested they be returned to the facility. (10:38pm)
