WILMINGTON, MA — A new name was added to the Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry for Wilmington last month.
David C. Nickerson was convicted of rape in 1989. He is classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender. “Level 3” indicates the highest risk of reoffense and highest degree of dangerousness.
Nickerson does not have a formal address, listed as “homeless,” living out of a 1997 Green Ford car, last in Reading. Nickerson works, however, in Wilmington, at 945 Old Main Street.
Nickerson is a 50-year-old white male. He’s 5’10″, 200 lbs, with brown hair (note: that’s graying) and hazel eyes.
(DISCLAIMER: Sex offender registration information shall not be used to commit a crime against an offender or engage in illegal discrimination or harassment of an offender. Any person who uses sex offender registration information for such purpose shall be punished by not more than two and one-half (2 ½) years in a house of correction or by fine of not more than $1000.00 or both. M.G.L. c. 6, § 178N. Any person who uses sex offender registration information to threaten to commit a crime may be punished by a fine of not more than $100.00 or by imprisonment for not more than six months. M.G.L. c. 275, § 4.)
