CHELMSFORD, MA — On December 24, Robert “Bob” Ritchie, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away in his home of 30 years, after a one-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by close family, and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, and his two children, daughter, Kristin, her husband, Paul Ford of Portsmouth; and son, Brian, and wife, Donna of Andover. He had four grandchildren, RJ (Robert II), Zoe, Kendall and Brooke.
Additional close family includes his brother, Donald and wife, Abbe of North Andover and their children, Katie, Alyssa, and Donald Jr. Brother-in-law, Richard and Ann Marie Condike of Methuen, and their two boys, Greg and Chris.
Bob worked his entire career in his family’s business, Ritchie and Sons Inc. located in Wilmington, MA.
He will forever be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and his unlimited ability to love.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 4pm to 7pm, at Indian Ridge Country Club, 73 Lovejoy Road, Andover.
