WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Middle School recently launched “Paw Printz,” the school’s new student-run literary magazine.
The magazine’s first issue, published last month, can be read HERE. It features an article about American Idol’s Casey McQuillen’s visit to the school during her anti-bullying “You Matter” tour; a review of the school’s fall play, “Fairy Tale Courtroom,” plus interviews from its director and one of its leads; and some great fall-inspired art, stories and poetry.
The magazine’s December issue, published last week, can be found HERE, featuring winter-themed survey, stories, poetry, artwork.
The Paw Printz team includes: Maura Sullivan & Skylar Smith (Editors-In-Chief); Gianna Misuraca & Miriam Nelson (Copy Editors); Siobhain Murphy & Jessica Daniliuk (Layout Editors); Hayden Kane & Allyson Buckley (Online Editors); and members Emir A., Maggie B., Grace L., Jenna M., Ashley M., Jeremiah L., Lillian P., Jonathan P., Jordan Q., Kaili S., Julia C., Jessica. Mrs. Jaclyn Madden and Ms. Shannon Keeley serve as the club’s advisors.
Know a student who might be interested in joining the team? The group meets twice a month from 2pm to 3pm in Room 222. Meeting dates are announced in the building and on Twitter.
