5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (December 28, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Monday, December 28, 2015.

#1) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running THREE events today — a PJ Storytime for Ages 2-5 (6:30pm-7pm); an All-You-Can-Read Buffet for Grades 4 to 8 (1pm-5pm); and a meeting of their Networking Group (10am-11:30am). Learn more about each event and register, if necessary, HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its typical Monday activities — Blood Pressure Clinic (9:30am); SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am); and Quilting (1pm). Learn more HERE.

#3) Today is the FINAL DAY to register for the Wildcat Alumni Association and Friends’ First Annual Alumni Basketball Games on Wednesday, December 30 at 5:30pm (women’s) and 7pm (men’s) in the WHS Gym.  Learn more HERE.

#4) The WHS Girls Basketball team battles Methuen at 5:30pm at Methuen High. The WHS Boys Basketball team hosts Sharon at 7pm at Wilmington High in the Knights of Columbus Tournament.

#5) Wilmington is going to see its first snow of this winter as early as tonight.  Wilmington is under a winter weather advisory from Monday (8pm) to Tuesday (7pm).  Expect a messy morning commute on Tuesday. Read more from the National Weather Service HERE.
