WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Public Schools is holding a Family Literacy Night for students (PreK-Grade 5) and their family on Thursday, January 21, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, at the Woburn Street School (227 Woburn Street).
Participants will explore “family-friendly digital resources” that support literacy.
The evening will feature:
- Wilmington Children’s Librarian Barbara Raab will present ideas around new technologies in literacy to parents
- Wilmington Elementary Reading Specialist Linda Cornell and teachers will engage students with digital apps for education
- A winter-themed scavenger hunt
